Random existential thoughts.

I spent the three-day weekend on the coast with Gentleman Lover. We celebrated me turning thirty. It was a fantastic time made up of the sappy moments that tend to get an eye-roll, but it also felt very weird to realize I’d shaken off my twenties. It felt freeing, since I spent so many of those years miserable, depressed, and spiteful toward the very idea of living a whole life, much less a happy one.

My life now is happy, but I still have a lot of rage left from the past, and it’s showing up in Wolf’s Bane plenty. This whole series seems to be a form of self-therapy. Just with werewolf balls added to make things fun.
